Helping Rescue Dogs Find Their Best Forever Homes

At Velocity K9, we believe every dog deserves the opportunity to succeed, and every family deserves the support they need to build a strong relationship with their dog.

We’re proud to partner with Basset Hound Rescue League to provide training, boarding, evaluations, and additional support for dogs and families in need. Through this partnership, we’re able to help rescue dogs build valuable skills while also giving their new families the tools and guidance they need to succeed together.

Despite their name, Basset Hound Rescue League helps dogs of many different breeds and mixes. Their work extends beyond Basset Hounds, providing care and support to dogs who need a second chance, regardless of breed.

Our goal is to give these dogs the best possible foundation for their next chapter and help set them up for successful adoptions. Our support doesn't end when a dog finds a home.

We’re happy to work with dogs after adoption to help them adjust to their new environment and learn how to successfully become part of their new family.

New adopters of foster dogs in Velocity K9’s care receive a FREE training lesson, giving them the opportunity to learn how to communicate with their new dog, establish expectations, and continue building on the skills their dog has already learned.
